Over the course of 30 years, Karen discovered a simple truth: you don’t have to be just corporate or just creative. She found that using your creativity in business helps you produce amazing new ideas, and using your business skills in the creative world can make big dreams become a reality.

From corporate CEO advising Fortune 500 companies to award-winning creative writer, Karen has been featured on media worldwide. She has appeared on Good Morning America, Today Show, Nightline, CBS, The View, CNN, NBC, NPR, NBC Nightly News and in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and global TV/radio/podcasts.

An internationally acclaimed motivational speaker, Karen has a client list that includes Sony, Louis Vuitton, Deloitte, PwC, Armani, the United Nations and more. Her lifelong love of the arts—as a dancer, performer, director, producer and storyteller—informs all of her work. A celebrated writer, Karen is the author of the best-selling book The Autism Sourcebook, with globally produced plays and a screenplay that won Best Script at the World Film Festival in Cannes.

Karen received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brown University, a master’s degree from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, her Mind/Body training through Harvard Medical School, and is a master practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). She has lectured at NYU Stern School of Business, UMASS Medical School, Columbia University and Brown University. With a passion for education and philanthropy, Karen serves as Chair of the Dean’s Council at the NYU Gallatin School and is a founding board member of NEXT for Autism, an organization close to her heart.
